Providing Final Military Funeral Honors
The Rocco Moretto VFW Post 2348 Honor Guard is dedicated to ensuring every veteran in our service area receives the dignified and respectful farewell they earned through their service to our nation. We proudly execute Military Funeral Honors, serving as the final salute from a grateful community.
We perform the solemn flag folding ceremony and present the American flag to the veteran's family on behalf of the President of the United States.
Our trained rifle squad executes the traditional three-volley rifle salute, a custom signifying a fallen comrade's sacrifice.

We work closely with the family and funeral home to ensure all Military Funeral Honors are conducted seamlessly and with utmost military courtesy.
Military Funeral Honors (MFH) are mandated by law for any deceased veteran who:
Families must provide the veteran's **DD Form 214**, discharge papers, or other acceptable proof of military service (e.g., WD AGO Form, VA documents). The VFW Honor Guard supplements, but does not replace, the minimum mandatory services provided by the Department of Defense.
