No veteran or neighbor eats alone this holiday! Rocco Moretto VFW Post 2348 opens its doors at 31-35 41st Street for our Annual Friendsgiving Community Thanksgiving Feast. Join us for a complimentary, traditional holiday dinner with roasted turkey, savory stuffing, warm pumpkin pie, and welcoming community fellowship for local combat veterans, military families, seniors, unhoused neighbors, and Astoria friends.
Free Traditional Turkey Feast
Complimentary slow-roasted turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, gravy, cornbread stuffing, cranberry sauce, roasted vegetables, fresh rolls, and homemade desserts.
Warm Neighborhood Fellowship
Creating a welcoming, family-style holiday environment for local veterans, military families, seniors, students, and neighbors spending Thanksgiving in Queens.
Homebound Meal Deliveries
Post 2348 volunteer drivers deliver hot Thanksgiving meals directly to elderly, disabled, or homebound veterans living across Astoria and Long Island City.
Non-Perishable Pantry Drive
Collecting non-perishable canned goods, dry staples, and winter essentials to restock local Queens food banks and support veterans facing hardship.
