Guiding the next generation, supporting career transitions, and fostering intergenerational leadership! Rocco Moretto VFW Post 2348 invites military veterans, transitioning service members, student veterans, local youth, and community mentees to 31-35 41st Street for our monthly Mentorship Program. Join us every first Sunday of the month for one-on-one professional guidance, resume building, academic coaching, and veteran peer mentorship.
Career & Civilian Transition
Professional resume reviews, interview coaching, networking opportunities, and job placement assistance led by experienced veteran executives and local business leaders.
Youth & Student Guidance
Pairing local Astoria high school and college students with veteran mentors for academic encouragement, leadership development, and military academy insights.
Peer-to-Peer Veteran Support
Connecting newly discharged service members with established Post members to navigate VA benefits, healthcare enrollment, GI Bill applications, and local reintegration.
Workshops & Speaker Panels
Interactive monthly discussions featuring guest speakers, trade union representatives, entrepreneurship advisors, and higher education counselors.
