Family Day @ The Post – Summer Community Celebration
Summer fun, laughter, and multi-generational veteran comradeship! Rocco Moretto VFW Post 2348 welcomes Post members, Auxiliary families, military kids, and Astoria neighbors to our Post grounds at 31-35 41st Street. Join us for our annual Family Day celebration featuring bounce houses, face painting, outdoor games, grilled picnic lunches, ice cream, and warm neighborhood fellowship.
Inflatables & Youth Games
Bouncy house inflatables, face painting stations, water balloon tosses, cornhole, and lawn games in our Post courtyard for kids of all ages.
Complimentary Picnic Lunch
Freshly grilled burgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, watermelon, cotton candy, snow cones, and ice cream treats cooked by Post and Auxiliary volunteers.
Multi-Generational Unity
Strengthening family bonds across WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War, and Post-9/11 military households with local Astoria neighbors and youth leaders.
Community Safety & Civics
Interactive youth civics exhibits, Junior ROTC color guard demonstrations, and community fire and safety educational displays.
